RIVER VALLEYPRIVATE WEBSITE PROPOSAL · LANCASTER, OHIO
River Valley Dental's care is personal, current, and rooted in Lancaster. Its website is a fixed-width mirror from 2015 — the first impression a new patient gets at 9:41 PM.
01 / THE AUDIT
The live domain is not a 2026 website wearing an old theme. It is the 2015 HTTrack mirror itself — the copier's timestamp is still in the HTML. Six findings, all observable in the current page.
The served HTML still carries Mirrored … 28 Sep 2015 15:32:10 GMT. A decade of maintenance is missing from the file itself.
No viewport meta. The 1,044px table forces a 1,050px document; 15px body copy renders at roughly 5.6px on screen.
The phone number is visible, but 0 tel: links exist in the home HTML. A patient on a phone must select and dial it by hand.
The preferred-date field defaults to the mirror's capture date, and the form posts to http:// while the page is served over HTTPS.
0 <h1> and 0 <h2> elements. The welcome, sections, and doctor name are styled divs, so the page gives search engines and screen readers no outline.
ssl.google-analytics.com/ga.js fails with ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED. The page still calls the retired Universal Analytics script.

EVIDENCE · Served HTML at lancasterdentist.net (30 Oct 2026) · 390 × 844 Chromium measurement · live appointment page source · one failed network request. No rendered usability claim is made beyond these observations.
02 / THE GAP
A parent searches for a Lancaster dentist after the kids are asleep. The result is a 99-character title and a five-word description. The click lands on a page that needs a pinch, a scroll, and a call during office hours.

The page is 1,050px wide. On this phone, 15px CSS body copy resolves to roughly 5.6px on screen.
03 / THE PRACTICE
The website undersells a practice that already has what patients look for: a named doctor, a long-tenured hygiene team, real patient words, and photographs of the actual office.

The raw material is credible. The presentation is not yet doing it justice.
SOURCE · Current site team, gallery and appointment pages. Portrait and office photography are used unchanged; no appearance or facility has been generated or altered.
04 / THE FRONT DOOR
A working concept, not a screenshot: three tabs, a fourteen-treatment library, a real-hours calendar, and a separate phone layout. Dates and slots are illustrative; the build connects to the practice's actual schedule.
Dr. Frilling has practiced in Lancaster since 1992. Same gentle team. A clearer way in.

05 / THE DIFFERENCE
Drag the handle. On the left is the live appointment page; on the right is the concept's appointment state. The change is not cosmetic — it is the difference between a form that opens on 2015 and a request that starts with a real next opening.

BEFORE / AFTER Both captured at the same viewport. The concept state is illustrative.
09/28/2015 → the next open weekday, inside the practice's real hours.
http:// form action → an HTTPS request flow with a clear privacy note.
Select: Morning / Afternoon → 9:40 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:20 PM, and a confirmed selection.
0 tel: links → tap-to-call in the header, the appointment block, and the footer.
Fewer steps between a patient and a chair.

06 / THE SYSTEM
Six connected pieces, scoped to a dental practice rather than a generic small business. The outcomes are build targets, not ranking or revenue guarantees.

maintained, not launchedSCOPE NOTE · The build uses the practice's verified details and supplied photography. No review count, ranking, certification, or patient outcome is invented.
07 / THE ROADMAP
A launch plan with named owners and a clear handoff. Target launch is day 21, after content sign-off; the dates move only if approvals move.
A short, decisive start.
The working site takes shape.
Launched, then kept current.
PLAN NOTE · Day counts are working targets, not a guarantee. Launch requires the practice's content and approval.
08 / THE ENGAGEMENT
Start where the practice is. Every scope is fixed in writing before work begins; the quote follows a 20-minute scope call.
Rebuild the first impression.
Rebuild the front door and the next step.
Keep the practice current.
Start with the front door. Grow into the practice.
Fixed-fee quote after a 20-minute scope call. Scope confirmed in writing. Photography, paid media, and clinical claims are quoted separately if needed. No dollar figures are invented here.
NO INVENTED PRICING · The correct next step is a scoped conversation, not a package price on a slide.

09 / LET'S TALK
I called on 29 October; the office let me know the person in charge was busy. This is the version I'd walk Dr. Frilling through when the timing is better — 20 minutes, no pressure.
Nothing is booked. The button prepares an unsent email draft for you to review.
