PRIVATE PROPOSAL31 OCT 2026

Great grooming.
Confusing front door.

Cage-free grooming in Rancho Bernardo: three named groomers, a bather, ten grooming services and thirteen finished grooms on file — most of it buried in a homepage carousel with no gallery page.

01SITE AUDIT · CAPTURED 31 OCT 2026

Six things the site says.
They do not agree.

Everything below is on odiesgrooming.com today — captured from the live pages and read in the page source. No inference, no “outdated” hand-waving.

HIGH01

Every booking button leaves the site.

Four booking controls on the homepage — all four open booking.moego.pet in a new tab. No price, deposit or next open day appears before the jump.

SOURCE · href × 4 · /

HIGH02

Two addresses, two closing times.

The live header says 15817 and 4:30 PM. The same page source also carries 15807 and 6:00 PM in a block the browser keeps hidden. Anyone reading the page source, or a crawler, finds two addresses and two closing times.

SOURCE · DOM · hidden block (zero size), / and /contact-us

MED03

Price is answered in one paragraph.

“What are your prices and services?” is the third FAQ; the answer is $50–$200, in prose. The Services page lists ten items and no price.

SOURCE · /faq, /services

MED04

Two team cards are placeholders.

Seven cards sit under “Meet Our Team”. Two are named Staff 1 and Staff — logo avatar, no bio — leaving two large empty columns.

SOURCE · /about-us · rendered below

MED05

The header eats the first screen on a phone.

At 390 pixels the three social buttons stack vertically, so the masthead takes a large share of the first phone screen before the hero starts.

SOURCE · 390 × 844 render, below

LOW06

Three words are spelled wrong in the menu.

The nav reads FAQ´s — an acute accent, not an apostrophe — on all five pages. The service cards read Desheding and Hollistic Pet Food.

SOURCE · nav × 5 pages, service accordion

The Odie’s Grooming mobile header at 390 pixels: three social icons stacked vertically above the logo and a book appointment button.
390 × 844 · live header. Social buttons and the booking button fill about a third of the first screen. Finding 05.
Two team cards on the About page named Staff 1 and Staff, both using the Odie’s logo as their avatar and carrying no biography.
“Staff 1” and “Staff”. Both live on /about-us with the logo as an avatar. Finding 04.

What we are not saying

We are not judging the grooming itself, and we are not claiming lost revenue: no analytics were supplied. These are six things a customer meets before they ever meet a groomer.

No call transcript, analytics or customer record was used in this audit. Public site only.

02THE GAP · THE FRONT DOOR

11:47 PM.
The dog is matted.

This is the moment the site has to work. It is an illustrative path built from the site’s own flow — not a recorded customer, call or quote.

TONIGHT · SIX STEPS

  1. 1

    Searches “dog grooming Rancho Bernardo”.

  2. 2

Sees “Book your dog’s spa day now!” on the hero button.

  3. 3

Taps Book — and leaves the site for booking.moego.pet.

  4. 4

Has left the salon’s site. This audit did not review the booking portal.

  5. 5

Finds the “$25 deposit” answer only on the separate FAQ page.

  6. 6

Calls after hours. The voicemail says 8:00–4:30 and closed Mondays. The page header says 4:30; a hidden block says 6:00.

THE SAME NIGHT · FOUR STEPS

  1. 1

Lands and sees the real work first.

  2. 2

Sees ten grooming services, the $50–$200 range and the next open day.

  3. 3

Picks a time on a calendar that knows Monday is closed.

  4. 4

Hands off to MoeGo with the deposit already explained.

The gap is not taste.

It is three facts the site already owns — services, hours, the $25 deposit — arriving in the wrong order.

03THE FLAGSHIP · WORKING CONCEPT

One front door.
Three taps to a slot.

A working concept, not a picture: tabs, a real service menu, a calendar that closes on Mondays, and a phone. Dates and availability are illustrative; the services, hours and price range are theirs.

04THE SYSTEM · WHAT BRANDCORE BUILDS

Six systems.
One shop, told properly.

Each one is a direct answer to a finding on slide 01. Nothing here needs a new photographer, a new booking platform or a new brand.

01

A booking-first front page

Services, the $50–$200 range and the next open day above the fold. MoeGo becomes the third tap, not the first.

FIXES · Finding 01

02

One address, one hours block

15817 and 4:30 PM, published once and reused everywhere — header, footer, contact, schema markup and Google. One source of truth.

FIXES · Finding 02

03

The gallery you already own

Thirteen real grooms get a page, filters and captions. The strongest three ride the homepage; the rest stop hiding in a carousel.

FIXES · The buried portfolio

04

Local search for 92127

Rancho Bernardo and Bernardo Center Drive pages, service-intent titles, and hours on the Google profile that match the site to the minute.

FIXES · Finding 02 and 06

05

Policies before the counter

The $25 deposit, the 48-hour rule, late pickup and the flea policy — in plain sight before booking, not in a FAQ paragraph.

FIXES · Finding 03

06

A partner, not a handoff

Monthly photo drops, seasonal offers and review requests, with one direct line to Brandcore. Nothing goes stale after launch.

ONGOING · Month 2 onward

05THE PROOF · THEIR OWN PHOTOGRAPHS

The work is already
in the building.

13 finished grooms in the site’s own homepage carousel, and no gallery page to send anyone to.

Every photograph on this slide is the salon’s own, published on odiesgrooming.com. No stock, no generated animals, no composites. Click any frame for the full caption.

  • Build a gallery page with a service filter and real captions
  • Pin the three strongest grooms to the homepage
  • Feed the same set to Google and Instagram posts

06THE ROADMAP · PROPOSED, TO BE AGREED

A proposed path.
Dates agreed with you.

Three proposed phases with a named owner each. Timing is set in the scope call and depends on approvals and access; no launch date or result is guaranteed.

  • “FAQ´s”, “Desheding”, “Hollistic” corrected in nav and cards.

PROPOSED · DAYS 8–60

The local engine

  • Google Business Profile hours and services aligned to the site.
  • Rancho Bernardo and service-intent pages published.
  • Review request flow after pickup, with a direct link.

07THE ENGAGEMENT · THREE WAYS

Start at the front door.
Or take the block.

Scope is fixed before work starts. Fees are quoted after a 20-minute scope call — no package price is invented here, and no retainer is assumed.

  • Gallery page from existing photography
  • Services with the published price range
  • Deposit and policy block above the fold

08LET’S TALK · 20 MINUTES
