02 / Public-page audit

Four things a visitor hits before the food.

Each finding is tied to captured page text. Nothing here is a traffic, ranking or conversion figure.

  1. Low

“Openings Hours” is the hours heading.

Hours are one of the first things a visitor looks for. As published, the heading reads as a typo.

    Source · homepage headings

  2. Medium

Every menu section carries the same weekend label.

All 11 captured section headings begin “Saturday and Sunday”. One is doubled, and “Tacos y Burritos” appears twice with different capitals. The labels do not show which menu applies on which day.

    Source · /full-menu headings

  3. Medium

The homepage shows a three-star rating labelled “Average”.

The captured page text includes that rating. No review count or date appears with it in the captured text, so a visitor has no context for it.

    Source · homepage text

  4. High

The page ends by pointing visitors elsewhere.

The last content section is “More Local Spots to Explore”. None of the captured headings names a reservation, an order or a next step, although the phone number appears in the page text.

    Source · homepage headings

Evidence boundary: two public pages, captured text and headings only. Photography, layout and mobile behaviour were not reviewed in this pass.

03 / The gap

A visit that ends at the bottom of the page.

Illustrative moment, not measured data

Saturday, 9:12 PM

Someone searching for dinner in South Lake Tahoe lands on the homepage. The hours heading reads “Openings Hours”. The menu sits on another page, in 11 sections, each labelled “Saturday and Sunday”.

Path today

Five steps, from the captured structure

  1. Land on the homepage and scroll for the hours.
  2. Open the menu page and sort through 11 weekend-labelled sections.
  3. Return to the homepage for the phone number.
  4. Check the rating: three stars labelled “Average”, with no count in the captured text.
  5. Leave through “More Local Spots to Explore”.

Path with the concept

Three steps

  1. Hours, menu sections and the phone number on the first screen.
  2. One tap to call, order or reserve, using the link the restaurant supplies.
  3. Directions and parking from the visit page.

Steps follow the captured page structure. No traffic, conversion or timing data is claimed.

04 / The concept

A front door that answers first.

Built from the captured page text. Hours and menu items stay as placeholders until the restaurant confirms them.

08 / Engagement

Three ways to deploy. One we would recommend.

Level 1

Clean-up

Fix the four audit items on the current site: the hours heading, menu day labels, review context and a visible call and directions line.

Copy and layout fixes. No redesign.

Level 3

Growth partner

Everything in the front door, plus a monthly content and review routine and a 60-day readout built from the restaurant’s own data.

Ongoing, scoped after the first 60 days.

Fixed-fee quote after a 20-minute scope call. No prices are shown in this deck.

09 / Let’s talk

Let’s put the menu on the first screen.

Start with a 20-minute scope call. Pick a time and the draft is prepared for you. Nothing is booked, and nothing is sent until you send it.
