Brandcore Partner Web & Growth Proposal

Prepared for Lilly's Taqueria · Santa Barbara & Goleta

The tacos
do the talking.

Lilly's already has the food, the reviews and the press. This proposal is about making the website say as much as the tacos do.

Lilly's Taqueria logo

Lilly's logo, cleaned to a transparent master: the white keyline is removed and the edges are smoothed. The strokes are unchanged.

01 · Site audit

The facts are good. The page makes you hunt for them.

Six findings from the public homepage, each checked against the text as captured. Counts are exact.

01 · Menu

11 items. No prices.

The menu is plain text in three groups: Grilled (4), Steamed (6) and Veggie (1). No prices appear anywhere on the page.

SOURCE · homepage menu sections

02 · Hours

One hours line for two locations.

Open Wednesday through Monday, 10am to 9pm, closed on Tuesdays. The line sits under both addresses, and no location-specific hours appear.

SOURCE · Hours block

03 · Address

Two ZIP codes for one Santa Barbara address.

The visible page gives 310 Chapala St, Santa Barbara, 93101. The search description for the same site gives 93110.

SOURCE · visible text vs. meta description

04 · Weekend items

Two of 11 items are weekend-only.

Tripas and Ojo carry a note that they are served Friday to Sunday only. The note lives inside the list. The page has no view of what is on a given day.

SOURCE · Grilled and Steamed item notes

05 · Proof

"Award Winning" in the title, no award named.

The strongest proof is a 2006 New York Times line and a USA Today 10Best link. Neither is dated on the page.

SOURCE · page title, press quote, 10Best link

06 · Catering

Catering starts with a name and an email.

The catering block asks for a name and email before any information comes back. The page shows no platter menu, lead time or minimum.

Captured from the public homepage on 31 Oct 2026. Text is quoted as captured; this is not a screenshot and no live-site test was run. Photos: three taco images at 300×200 source size. The captured homepage carries no storefront or dining-room photo.

02 · The gap · illustrative

11:47 PM

The doors closed at nine. The question didn't.

Someone on a couch wants tacos tomorrow. Here is the path the page asks for today, next to the path it could offer.

Today 6 steps

  1. Open the homepage.
  2. Scroll the menu text: 11 items, no prices.
  3. Find the weekend notes on Tripas and Ojo.
  4. Read the one hours line that covers both addresses.
  5. Work out which address is closer.
  6. Call one of two numbers.

Proposed 3 steps

  1. Pick tomorrow's day.
  2. See that day's menu and hours for each location.
  3. Tap call or directions for the right one.
  • 11 menu items
  • 2 locations
  • 2 phone numbers
  • 1 shared hours line
  • 2 weekend-only items

Illustrative path drawn from the captured homepage. Not a usage study; no visitor data was used.

03 · The flagship · concept

The new front door, built from their own menu.

A working concept, not a live site. Every menu item, hour, address and number comes from the captured homepage. Use the tabs, the days and the items to see how a visitor would use it.

  • Home leads with the food, today's hours and one call.
  • Menu by day shows exactly what is on, day by day.
  • Locations lists both addresses and both numbers, with the ZIP still to confirm.

Concept only. Nothing on this page orders, books or sends anything.

04 · What Brandcore builds

Six pieces. One job: make the page match the kitchen.

Website

A front door that answers the late-night question: is it open, what is on, where do I go.

What it changes One clear path to the menu, hours and call.

Menu architecture

Menu by day, weekend-only items marked where they appear, and prices wherever you choose to show them.

What it changes Every item's rule is visible before the drive.

Local search

One address, one ZIP and one hours block per location, matched on every listing that carries them.

What it changes Listings agree with the website.

Content library

Press and reviews dated, linked and easy to find, with photos you own, sized for the web.

What it changes Proof you already earned sits where people look.

Catering intake

A catering page with platter options, lead time and a request form that asks for the right details.

What it changes A request arrives with the date, headcount and location.

Growth partner

One named rep and a monthly review of menu changes, calls and directions.

What it changes A short list of next changes, not a dashboard for its own sake.

05 · Proof already on the page

The proof is good. It is just hidden.

"AS Authentic as a taco gets"

New York Times · quoted on the homepage; the link points to a 2006 article

"Best street tacos. Go on the weekend so you can get the Tripas! Lilly's has arguably the most authentic tacos in Santa Barbara."

Reviewer not named on the page

"There are no chips, no rice and nary a bean in sight... just tacos."

06 · Roadmap

3 days. 7 days. 60 days.

Day 3

Facts and front door

  • Confirm both addresses and the Santa Barbara ZIP.
  • Agree the menu list and which prices to show.
  • Approve the Home and Menu-by-day concept.

Owners Luis (coordination) · Lilly's (facts)

Launch None yet. The concept stays private until you approve it in writing.

We need from you Current menu with prices, hours for each location, press articles with dates.

Day 7

Build and check

  • Build the approved pages in a private staging copy.
  • Check that every listing matches the website.
  • Hand over a written checklist for the next change.

Owners Hector (technical build) · Luis (review)

Launch On the day you approve it in writing.

We need from you Storefront and dining-room photos you own, and your catering lead time.

Day 60

Measure and refine

  • First review of calls, directions and menu-change requests.
  • Compare against the baseline recorded on day 3.
  • Agree the next three changes, in writing.

Owners Luis · Hector

Launch Already live from day 7 if approved. Day 60 is the review.

We need from you About thirty minutes for the review.

07 · Engagement

Three ways to start. One we would recommend.

Level A

Facts and front door

  • Addresses, ZIP and hours made consistent across the site and listings.
  • Menu-by-day page with weekend items marked.
  • Catering page with lead time and a clearer request form.

Best if You want the fixes before anything else.

Recommended

Level B

Full site

  • Everything in A.
  • The full website built out: Home, menu, locations, catering and a press library.
  • Local search clean-up and monthly menu-change support.

Best if You want the website to carry the business.

Level C

Growth partner

  • Everything in B.
  • A quarterly content and catering plan.
  • A photo session you approve, and a monthly review with a named rep.

Best if You want a steady partner for the next year.

Pricing: a fixed-fee quote after a 20-minute scope call. No dollar figures appear in this proposal.

08 · Let's talk

Let's talk. Twenty minutes, on the concept you just saw.

I'd like to walk through the menu-by-day view with you and settle the Santa Barbara ZIP together. No commitment is part of that call.
