Consigned Interiors · Palm Coast, Florida

Every treasureneeds a window.

Since 2007, this store has filled a Palm Coast showroom with other people’s treasures. Online, it is an 800-pixel table, one carousel and a phone number.

Nine slides · about six minutes

01 / Site audit

The store is 2026.
The site is 2007.

Six things the live page does today, read from its own HTML and stylesheets (checked 30–31 October 2026). Each one can be confirmed in view-source.

consignedinteriors.comLIVE · 1180px
The live Consigned Interiors homepage: a white 800-pixel table on a black field, logo then phone number and address.
Live homepage at 1180px, and the same page on a 390px phone — laid out at 980px because there is no viewport tag.
390px PHONE
The same page on a phone, laid out at 980 pixels and zoomed out so the text is small.
  1. 01

    No phone layout.

Zero viewport tags and one 800px fixed table. On a 390px phone the browser renders a 980px page and zooms out.

    SOURCE · index.html
  2. 02

A stylesheet for a table that isn’t there.

tablesheet.css (1,831 bytes) only styles .features-table — a class no element on the page uses — and its comment wrapper closes early. The real look comes from <font size>, bgcolor and one inline table.

    SOURCE · tablesheet.css
  3. 03

    The description tag is broken.

content"Furniture and Home Accessories" — the equals sign is missing, so search results get no description at all.

    SOURCE · <head>
  4. 04

    No catalogue.

18 <img> tags, 0 <h1>, 0 forms, 0 item URLs. A Google 3D tour and one carousel show the room, and the page itself warns “these items may have already sold.” Ten more thumbnails load only as CSS background-image rules.

    SOURCE · index.html + my-slider.css
  5. 05

    Consigning is a 2019 PDF.

The one consignment path on the page is a download of the December 2019 agreement. There is no intake form, photo upload or pickup scheduling; the page also lists a phone number and an email address.

    SOURCE · Consignment_Agreement_DEC2019.pdf
  6. 06

Store details a search engine can’t use.

Only a loose schema.org sketch: the store name is a 1-pixel white brand span on a white table and the phone sits in a contactOption field. Hours are plain text — no LocalBusiness type, no JSON-LD, 0 tel: links.

    SOURCE · index.html

Read from the live page and its linked stylesheets, 30–31 Oct 2026. The screenshots are the real site, cropped above the item carousel. Inventory counts are not claimed.

02 / The missing window

8:40 PM.
The store closed at 5:30.

An illustrative evening: someone in Palm Coast has an empty corner and a dresser to sell. Here is the only path the current site offers — and the one it could.

The Consigned Interiors storefront at 4892 Palm Coast Parkway NW, with two signs reading Consigned Interiors and Consign a Treasure, Buy a Treasure.

4892 Palm Coast Pkwy NW. The room is the asset. Hours on the live site: Mon–Fri 10–5:30, Sat 10–5, Sun closed.

Today six steps, then a closed door

  1. 1Find the store through a Facebook post.
  2. 2Tap the website link.
  3. 3Land on a 980px page, zoomed out.
  4. 4Scroll one carousel the page warns may already be sold.
  5. 5Call a number that is closed for the night.
  6. 6Try again tomorrow.

With a window three steps, any hour

  1. 1Open this week’s arrivals, with status.
  2. 2Open the piece: category, size, condition note.
  3. 3Ask, request a hold, or book a pickup.
The store still closes at 5:30. The window does not.

Illustrative scenario only. No customer, message, quote or booking is represented; no search volume is claimed.

03 / The front door

The window, rebuilt.
Working, not a picture.

Arrivals with status, a piece you can open, and a three-step consignment intake instead of a PDF. Try the tabs, filters and pieces.

CONCEPT · sample listings, illustrative only. No prices, stock or availability are claimed.

IN THE CONCEPT

Wooden chest of drawers — tall wooden chest of drawers with ring pulls, shown beside a small table and lamp. A status and a photo on every piece, so a sold item stops wasting a shopper’s evening.

Tabs, filters and the item detail are live in this frame.

Concept only. Listings are illustrative samples built from the store’s own photographs; no live stock, price or availability is claimed. A real build would use the store’s own arrivals.

04 / The system

Six parts.
One store.

The website is not the whole job. It is the part that makes the other five possible: arrivals, consignment, local search, photography and the follow-up after the door closes.

01

Storefront

A mobile-first page that answers the three questions in order: where, when, and what is in the room. Zero fixed-width tables.

GOAL · a site that opens properly at 390px

02

Arrivals

Every piece with a category, a photo and a status. When it sells, it says sold — that is the trust signal, not a slogan.

GOAL · a shopper can check before driving

03

Consignment intake

Photograph, describe, choose a pickup window. The 2019 PDF becomes a stored record instead of the only way in.

GOAL · a seller can start at 8:40 PM

04

Local presence

Google Business, the map pin, hours and directions kept in sync with the site — the same address and the same hours everywhere.

GOAL · one address and one set of hours everywhere

05

Photography system

The store already posts pictures on Facebook. A fixed crop, order and alt-text routine would carry the same pictures to the site without a second job.

GOAL · the room shown online as it is inside

06

Follow-up

Every inquiry, hold and pickup gets an owner and a next action. Nothing waits in an inbox until it is too late to matter.

GOAL · every inquiry has an owner and a next step

Programme only. No deliverable in this slide is claimed as built; the concept on the previous slide is the sample of the work.

06 / The roadmap

Three days.
Seven. Sixty. Proposed.

A proposed schedule a working store can staff. Brandcore owns the build; Consigned Interiors owns the pieces, the photographs and the approvals. Dates move if photos or approvals do.

DAYS 1–3

Open the doors

  • Structure, categories and the arrival template
  • Hours, address, phone and map checked once, then everywhere
  • Photo and copy routine agreed with the person who shoots

BRANDCORE · you approve the categories

DAYS 4–7

The build

  • Mobile-first storefront and arrivals
  • Consignment intake with photo and pickup window
  • First 12 pieces photographed, written and published

BRANDCORE · you supply the pieces in the room

DAYS 8–60

The habit

  • Weekly arrivals and status hygiene
  • Local profile and directions kept in step
  • Monthly review: what was asked for, what sold

BRANDCORE + store · proposed launch target: day 7

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Three things: the photos you already take, the current consignment terms, and one approval pass on the three pages that matter. Nothing else changes about how the store runs.

07 / The engagement

Three ways to
put it in the window.

Scope, not a price list. Each option would be quoted in writing after a 20-minute call — no package invented here, no retainer assumed.

01

The Window

When the site is the only problem.

  • Mobile-first storefront
  • Arrivals with status
  • Consignment intake
  • Hours, address, map, phone

SCOPE · three core pages, arrivals and the intake flow

RECOMMENDED

02

The Storefront

When the room changes every week.

  • Everything in The Window
  • Local presence and directions
  • Photo and alt-text routine
  • Inquiry and hold follow-up

SCOPE · five pages, arrivals, local profile and follow-up

03

The Partner

When the store wants a marketing engine.

  • Everything in The Storefront
  • Brand and content direction
  • Paid local campaigns
  • Monthly measurement review

SCOPE · the storefront, plus a monthly programme

No dollar figures here. A written quote follows a 20-minute scope call, once we know what the store needs.

Scope descriptions only. Nothing on this slide is a quote, a guarantee or a claimed result.

WHAT WE WON’T DO

  1. 01Publish a piece that has already sold.
  2. 02Promise a ranking, a review count or a measured lift.
  3. 03Put a number on this page before the scope call.

THE 20 MINUTES

  1. 05minWhat is in the store this week, and which pieces move fastest.
  2. 07minThe three pages that matter, and what each one has to do.
  3. 08minScope, sequence, and a launch date the store can staff.

08 / Next

The room is full.
Let’s give it a window.

If the direction is right, the next step is a 20-minute call: what is in the store this week, what sells fastest, and which three pages matter most.
