Flagship Website
A custom store site built around the floor, not a 2016 template.
- Custom 7-page build
- Copy written for hobbyists
Prepared by Amy Alfaro · Brandcore
Aqua-World has the livestock, the service bench and the custom builds. Its website does not yet put any of them up front.

We read aquaworldpsc.com the way a new hobbyist would: on a phone, after work, deciding where to buy a first saltwater fish. Six things make that decision harder.
1
On first load in our 1440 capture, a mailing-list pop-up sits over the hero and dims the page. The livestock is behind a subscribe form until a visitor closes it.
The store's number, 412-732-9100, is plain text in the homepage contact block. Our capture found no tel: link, so a thumb has to copy and paste it.
Meta description: "…a unique pet store specilaizing in Freshwater Fish, Saltwater Fish, Coral Reef and, Aquarium Maintenance." It is the sentence a search result can show under the link.
The contact block lists 11:00 to 7:00, six days, closed Tuesdays. The top of the page never says when the store is open. The holiday-hours link goes to /map.
The products page is a wall of 143 supplier names, 107 unique, with no categories. It lists manufacturers, not the fish, coral and equipment a hobbyist came to find.
The footer copyright still reads 2016, and it links a Google+ icon for a platform that closed to consumers in 2019. Read together, they suggest the site is not being kept current.
Picture someone who just saw a reef tank on their feed and wants one. They have your name, your town and a few minutes before they give up. The website gets one shot at three questions: What do you carry? When are you open? How do I reach a person?
Not a template with a fish on it. A store-first site built around the three things a hobbyist actually needs: what is alive in the building, what the service bench can do, and how to reach it.
Freshwater, saltwater, coral, reptiles and small animals become browsable shelves — with a weekly list the staff keep current, instead of a wall of supplier names.
Vinyl wrapping from $15/ft, drilling from $35/hole, water tests $1 and $5 per parameter, scratch removal from $35/sq ft. The rates are on the services page; the homepage names the services without them.
Enter inches, get gallons and litres before asking for a maintenance quote. It is the smallest useful tool an aquarium store can put online.
The full desktop concept adds the live livestock board, the seven-service menu and the tank calculator. Livestock availability shown here is illustrative; the build connects to the store's own weekly list.
Freshwater, saltwater, coral, reptiles and small animals, plus the service bench that keeps them healthy.
Five categories and one weekly list. Filter here, then call to confirm what is on the floor today.
The aquarium floor, online.
Your floor is the product. Brandcore builds the structure around it: the livestock shelves, the service bench, the local search presence, the proof and the monthly rhythm that keeps the list current.
A custom store site built around the floor, not a 2016 template.
Five categories, one weekly board, a shelf per species group — replacing a 143-name supplier wall.
Maintenance, drilling, wrapping and custom builds with the tank size and photos attached before you reply.
Google Business Profile, hours that match the door, and pages that answer Pittsburgh aquarium searches.
Water chemistry, acclimation, quarantine and tank cycling — the questions your counter answers every day.
Weekly livestock updates, new service rates, seasonal edits and one direct line to Amy. So the site does not go stale.
The portfolio page says it shows aquariums "maintained and installed by our service teams." It holds 21 photographs under a short intro, with no captions, no scope, no city and no way to ask for one.

No performance numbers are claimed here. The portfolio is evidence of craft, not measured results.
Your staff stay on the floor and at the bench. We handle the structure, the copy, the livestock board, the calculator, the QA and the launch.
A 90-minute kickoff. We leave with the livestock taxonomy, the service menu and a launch date.
Design, build, copy and QA. Livestock board, service menu, calculator and click-to-call wired in. Live on Day 10.
The site starts working. We keep the board current, build local visibility and turn installs into proof.
Every engagement starts with the same foundation: a custom flagship, livestock architecture and a working service path. Choose how far you want to take the growth.
For replacing the 2016 site with a front door that matches the floor.
For showing up in Pittsburgh aquarium search and keeping the board current.
For a store that wants custom builds and maintenance routes to grow.

Twenty minutes. We will walk through the audit, the concept and the launch plan — then you decide if it is worth building.
